Here is a song I wrote for somebody last year. They wanted me to write it based on a title, so I did my best and knuckled down for about ten minutes fiddling about with some lyrics I had written and adapted them to fit the song. Enjoy.
’E.P.E (Exsistence Preceeds Essense)’
Choice is not an option, it's a chore As far as we may know Hope is not a blessing, it's a bore So much as we adore Time drones on and on, forever we shall roam Right now, I know this much more More than I've ever known
Life is what you make it Promise you won't fake it Try and you might break it with a cost
My soul can't speak but if it could It would reflect my mind People talk as if they should It gets them nowhere all the time Disapprove ovations, standing delayed at our stations We need a calling second hand To help us fall on our feet again Still stuck up trees in cyber land
Life is what you make it Promise you won't fake it Try and you might break it with a cost Life sucks when you take it Tell me you won't mistake it with a chance
Like a hometown, they possess a frame That's been lived through before, for sure Yet they don't realize they just stare up at the skies Hoping that the controls of life Will fall into their palms When it's not like that at all, oh no It's not like that at all
Exsistence preceeds essense Means more than just a presence Exsistence preceeds essense We learn from all our lessons

I have no idea yet As I just wrote it with the lyrics in mind, didn't put any music to it.
